Flatbed Driver Full Time

Summary

A flatbed driver for MBI Energy Services is responsible for operating the flatbed truck, loading and unloading safely and without incident.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Safely load and unload pallets, drums and all.
• Run forklift to load and offload.
• Operate side dump and belly dump trailers.
• Haul pipe.
• Knowledge of and use of proper load securement.
• Must be able to work with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Actively participate in the Company’s behavior based safety (BBS) program.

Required Skills

• Experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Experience operating loaders, blades, excavator, man lift and snow plows. Interpret customer order forms.
• Calculate weights of legal loads.
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Licenses and Certifications

Class A CDL license required.

Hazmat endorsement preferred.
