Our USGO North East Region Operations team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Ohio to support and enhance our emergency response capabilities and strengthen our customer relationships.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist (OSS) who possesses strong operations knowledge and the ability to plan, coordinate and complete projects across multiple disciplines. Per the guidance of the Regional Operations Director, the OSS will support the proper execution of work assignments, while also providing operations guidance for GPMC and major projects within the area.
This individual must be a solid facilitator, capable of working with minimal supervision, who possesses strategic decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution and written/verbal communication skills.
Depending on the location of the successful candidate, the position may be filled at other locations within the North East region footprint.
What you’ll do
Knowledge of the installation, testing, repair and maintenance of compressor station equipment, pipeline facilities, metering and regulating equipment, communication systems and/or other facilities appurtenant to the pipeline system
Knowledge of routine and major maintenance on gas turbine packages, gas compressor units and associated auxiliary equipment
Knowledge of service and repair to mechanical measurement or control equipment such as meters, regulators and valves, to include power electricity (including hazardous area equipment), process controls, programmable logic controllers (PLC), electric generation equipment, microwave multiplex equipment, etc.
